I use to quite a bit, but haven't in the last seven years or so. I always had a few spots that I could wade to off of 98. I can't really tell you how to get to the spots because I had land markings (trees, houses, etc) not any GPS positions. Most the spots were over in Appalachicola Bay and not Apalachee Bay though.

I have netted a few off the dirt landing in Alligator Harbor of hwy 98. Never gone near St. Marks area, but I'm sure you could have some luck around Wakulla beach and Oyster Bay area.

Keaton Beach In the Flats Yields a lot of Mullet I have a 7 foot cast net and got 5 or 6 mullet in every cast and one weight 3lbs. I went in early afternoon when high tide was going out.

didn't know I was fishin' in your zone. the last several times i been out was with a fella that owns the company i work for in a boat. we went to the lighthouse. i'm looking for a place i can drive to and walk. my net was custom made by a man from monticello. its 8 foot top to bottom/16 foot across. i can catch them if i can find them. the roe mullet should be out now........

who wants to hook up and go??
