Suber says, "ya'll should just sit on the long bar and you should catch all the fish you need."
Cygraphics, myself and a bunch of other folks head for the East River and we start catching fish on the drift to some of the outer bars. We play with the ladyfish for a few and Chris lands a keeper trout. A few minutes later I land a 14 inch flattie, and start thinking that a slam should be pretty easy to find.
Even though we were catching fish on the flats, we decide to hit the bars looking for scavenging redfish and trout.
Turns out that the best bite of the day was behind us and the rest of the morning was just exercise. Congrats to Big Irish on the win. I've two fisted beer in one hand and Jack in the other, but never a trout and a redfish. It was good to see everybody again.
Nice turnout guys.
