Hopefully you are aware of your surroundings and not hiking on private property or in areas in a Wildlife Management Area where hunting is taking place. Please be aware of these seasons. Most hunters welcome hikers since they have the right to be there to. However, just don't walk in on my setup this weekend while I'm chasing Turkeys.

I hope your first post was a legit post and not just a spam for your hiking site.

The first post is not the work of the owner of SouthernHiker.com. I am that person. I am not a spammer, and rarely, even use message boards. I have noticed this post being placed throughout the web in the fast couple of days, and believe it to be the work of some sort of spammer. I do not know why this is happening, but please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am trying to track down where this is coming from now.

Thanks for the compliments. I just hate the idea that one spammer could make my writing appear as spam. I am actually heading down for some camping this next week all around Florida. I'll check back in here and see if I can put some real information about some places I visited. Sorry again for the spammer.
