| I woke up this morning ready to go fishing, but all I saw was fog and more fog. I told myself I will just stay at home and take care of a few things around the house, but who was I kidding. I got on the road around 11:00 to fish HM. I got down there and I saw blue sky, so I made the right choice. The launch was packed, so I didn't expect much action. I made my way out of the gulf and I picked the first creek mouth I saw that didn't have a Jon boat parked on it and started throwing topwater. Second cast, I landed a 17 incher, not too bad.
A couple more cast, I land one at 22, so no more of those.
A few minutes later, I land one a hair under 20.

Before I new it I had five in the cooler. 17, 19, 19, 19 and some change, and 22. I think I know now what Rachel Ray means with 30 minute meals.
High tailed it back to the landing and ran into Suber and Cueball. It was good seeing you fellars. The trout were out today.
Due for a National Championship since 1980.

Dang WaltDawg. I should have fished with you instead of chasing deer.
