| Hey I am a big dove, quail, and deer hunter but I am from ga new to tallahassee hunting. I have been hunting on lake jackson twice before but it was with people that were from here and it was two years ago. Is there any regulations on how close to the bank you can hunt with regards to houses and do yall have any tips I could use?

You can put in any of the landings that have water. Probably most put in at Millers Landing or Sunset Landing. You can also probably put in at Faulk or the other one off N. Monroe and Fred George (Can't remember the name)
You don't have to check in anywhere.
As far as I know, as long as you are on the water you are okay with your position. Just depends on how nice of a guy you are. I've never hunted on the lake, but I assume most try to get a good distance away from the homes.
Best of Luck!

Green Wings are the most popular but we will get some Blues as well. I assume you are just scouting tomorrow, right? The season is closed till the Dec. 6th. Just making sure you are aware.
Hope you seem them though.

Most guys around here have Ringnecks and coots. You'll also see some woodies to. However, if you are hunting Lake Seminole at all you might want something more. Maybe someone else will chime in on that.
I only have Ringnecks since I mostly hunt Miccosukee.

| Good shooting! It seems like there are always a ton of dove flying a Miccosukee as well.
