I rcvd this via email:
From Cathy Briggs.
CHANGES FOR ROAD AND OHV TRAIL USE
APALACHICOLA NATIONAL FOREST (ANF) (REVISED 6/20/2008)
OCTOBER 1, 2008
CHANGES TO ROADS AND TRAILS ON THE ANF ARE COMING OCTOBER 1, 2008
EA decision designates a system of roads and OHV trails and areas on
the ANF.
1652 miles of system roads for licensed vehicles
56 miles of OHV trails (34 miles of trails + 22 miles of mixed use
roads) (Leon County)
57 miles of off road motorcycle trails (55 miles of trails + 2 miles
of mixed use roads) (Leon County)
28 miles of mixed use roads (primarily for use during hunting
season) (Liberty County)
21 miles of mountain bike trail (Leon County)
BEFORE OCTOBER 1, 2008 - INCREMENTAL CHANGES
We are in the process of signing roads and trails, and constructing
trails and trailheads.
Roads - Continue to ride on existing roads and trails. When a new
road is numbered, unlicensed vehicle use is no longer allowed (except
for mixed use roads).
OHV Trails - Continue to ride on existing unnumbered roads and
trails.
Closed Areas – No OHV use allowed in closed areas, except the
motorcycle trail out of Lost Lake.
STARTING & AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2008 (INCLUDING HUNTING SEASON) - CHANGES
Roads - Licensed vehicles will be allowed on numbered roads. Roads
without numbers will not be open for motor vehicle use. OHVs will not
be allowed on numbered roads, except mixed use roads.
OHV Trails - OHVs will be allowed on designated OHV trails and mixed
use roads only. ATVs, utility vehicles, and motorcycles on YELLOW
trails; off road motorcycles and dual sport motorcycles on WHITE
trails. Travel is two way.
Mixed Use Roads - Mixed use roads (30mph speed limit) have both
licensed and unlicensed vehicles. Shared Road Use signs alert street
vehicles to watch out for OHVs. Mixed use is allowed on numbered
roads from one section of OHV trail to another, not the full length of
the road.

That sounds good to me.... of course it doesn't really effect me. I think if hunters, fisherman, and other sportsman have to pay fees for use so should others as long as the money all goes back to the Forest or trails in some way.
I didn't see a fee for damage to trees though? How much did that set you back Noley?
