Went out to Hickory this morning to fish the incoming.  I ended up with 7 or 8 reds all caught near or outside the creek mouths.  Only one under slot and my largest was 24.  I also lost a VERY nice largemouth who blew up a yellow He-Dog that broke off on a oyster bar.  Very suprised to see a largemouth in that type of water.  It put up a good fight and won, I guess.

All the reds were caught on either a jerk shad, topwater or spoon.

Since the He-Dog was gone, I tried the She-Dog

This guy bit the crap out of me, but maybe I deserved it since I disturbed his lunch.

The redfishing is about to get good fella's!

Way to go LawDawg! Good thing GA pulled it out Saturday, or you would've needed all of Sunday to recover and not been able to fish.

Blowing steady, to make the open water a little choppy, but manageable.  All protected water was smooth.

NIce catch!!  Way better luck then we had.  We tryed Piney Island...was alittle windy.  We caught one small flounder, a few rat reds and junk fish!   Is it generally best to be fishing in the shallow water by the oyster beds or move out to deeper water.  We also tryed some of the small creeks but couldnt find anything...any help would be appreciated.

GONE FISHIN!!
