I went down around 7pm today July 7 to my Redfish spot in Dickerson Bay, Panacea FL and to my surprise it way full of oil booms and clumps of oil dispersant on the surface. I was just down there last week and it all looked fine. Not to mention sea grass everywhere due to the boats putting the booms in chopping it all up. I didn't figure that it would get here this soon but it is definitely here. I am shooting for a Sunday trip to Keaton or Stien. to get a little farther east anyone been out there in the last week know what it is looking like?

| I heard they picked up all the booms this past weekend. Any other word on that?

Ya there gone, talked to a sheriff down in wakulla and he said that BP brought dirty booms from LA to our fishing areas without cleaning them off so they inadvertently brought some freaking dispersant and oil with them but it is not enough to contaminate anything. The last post I made was while the booms were going out so what I saw was actually dispersant up in Dickerson.
