Just got home from doing some night fishing from one of the fishing piers at Lake Talquin. Landed some real nice bass on a crank bait. Caught one on my very first cast, and the night just kept getting better and better left after catching a nice 8 lb largemouth around 2:30am. But just wanted to let everyone know its def worth missing the heat of the day and hitting up some fishing at night right now the fish are super active.

That sounds like a good time. I've always wanted to try it but never have.

Once the mosquito thing is taken care of it real nice. Especially not getting beaten down by the summer sun. I got lucky that my neighbor was willing to go and ride with me out there after he had come home from the bar haha. hopefully, i can go again real soon so i can get me a lunker. haha

Where is the pier on Lake Talquin? Are there more than one? How would I get there if I head south on the 20?

I like night fishing, all the around is quiet, and there is only me in the world.

I never experienced night fishing but am very eager to go for it..I had heard fishing in night is little different as that done at day.So this weekend I had made a plan to move for night fishing with my friends..Will enjoy there a lot.
