Hey, I have a question about my gun. It already has a camo finish, so the finish is fairly flat, but sometimes when the sun hits it just right, it still seems fairly shiny. Would a flat spray-on clear coat be a bad idea, pointless, etc?

It couldn't hurt, but I wouldn't worry about it. Most the time you are going to be setup in the shadows anyhow. Plus there have been more ducks, turkeys, dove and deer killed by old blued A-5s, 1100s, and 870s than any other shotguns on the market.

Yeah, that was kinda my thought. Just a little paranoia after I had three walk in on me and give me the stink-eye and haul tail on Saturday. I think it had something to do with them coming in from my right and getting a profile view.
