| I'd be interested to see some of y'all's duck hunting rigs. Here's mine (it's not a brightly colored as it appears....the flash did that). It is a Carstens Puddler model:

That grass looks great. You should be able to pull up anywhere you wanted and hunt right from the boat. I'm sure you'll be out of the boat, but at least you won't have to hide it.
After looking at your picks I've decided to paint my kayak. I'll photo the process and post once it's complete.

Sounds good. If you're planning on adding grass to it, I've got some extra you can have.

| Obsessed: I moved to Tampa back in 2006 and wasn't sure how much hunting I'd be able to do because my job consisted of long hours and lots of weekend. I had a sweet little River Hawk (like a Gheenoe) and Go-Devil setup. Sometimes hunted from it, sometimes waded. Then I bought this boat. It is a Carsten's Puddler model, which is the smallest they make: http://www.carstensindustries.com/boats.html Not sure how much you were looking to spend, but this rig has done me right, and there are a few customizations available (don't waste your money on the cover, though....I can show you what I built and it does the same job at a fraction of the cost). Hopefully, this will be my last year with this boat, as I'm looking to upgrade next year. If I do and I decide to sell it, I'll keep ya in mind. -Hac
