Two other riders and I were having some fun doing a bit of mud bogging and so on with the bikes.

All was going well until my bike's throttle stuck WAO and I went straight into a pine tree. Musta been doing about 30+ mph but it felt like 100! Since there is no cell phone reception one of my buddies headed out to locate the paramedics. Well, the whole freakin' Wakulla emergency services showed up. From what I remember there was FHP, Wakulla SO, Leon SO, EMT, FWC, Forestry (x2), and a couple more. No wonder it took 'em two hours to find me.

Well, a plate, 7 screws, a bunch of sutchers, and 37 staples later and I'm back together.

Looking forward to riding again!

Savannah May, '08

A couple o' pics from a recent road trip to Savannah and the GA mountains.

Tate's Hell ORV trails

Tate's Hell State Forest is a great place to wander and a large section on the southeast side is open to ORVs. Have a look:
http://www.fl-dof.com/state_forests/thsf_ohv_index.html

I have ridden the motorcycles out there several times and have never seen another soul. It does get a bit sandy in some areas so the two-wheeled vehicles need to be more careful.
